Au Revoir Jambières

Oh gosh, today I have decided to say farewell to my fave pair of leggings. I bought them about 3 years ago from H&M with my boy Johnny. They were super cheap; I can't remember exactly how much, it was either $6.99 or $9.99, whoa. They also came in pink and turquoise but because I didn't know then how much I would love them, I just bought this dear pair and that t'was all.

I love these grey-leopard bad-boys because:

- Super-duper comfortability
- Casual
- Go with Everything
- The print is subtle; Yes, they are leopard, but, no they don't scream it

The sad news is they're done. And that's the truth.

First there was a hole on my knee, and then a hole appeared on my bum. I felt OK with the knee and tackled the bum by always wearing black knicks underneath. Then the knee began to ladder and two weeks ago while hanging out with my girl Josie, the hole on my butt went crazy:

split and rip

I was out shopping so I had to tie a jumper round my waist, which was actually quite fun for a change.

Since this recent incident I know I can no longer wear them outside, unless I am wearing a huge top, but, in reality I know the fabric is done, done and done. It has reached its limit and finished its journey. I have continued to wear my special girls around the house but the temptation to wear them outside is too great.

I need to say goodbye. So, that is what I am doing today. I am saying au revoir.

Ciao lady leggings, thanks for being not only super-fab, but also for being the most comfortable pair I have ever had.

Sadly, these are not the only pair that are suffering. Two more pairs of my faves are also on their way out. They're not done yet, but it won't be long... Grrrr.

New Kids on the Block

Out with the old and in with the new. To help squash the pain of my dying collection of leggings I have bought three new brand spanking pairs. No, they will not replace the others but they will defo help.

Note: The trouble with clothing is you can never predict how much you are going to cherish an item, things bought on a "not so sure" whim could turn out to be the ones, whereas the ones that you vow "to love forever" may disappoint. If I had accurate fashion radar, I would have confidently picked up at least two pairs of grey-leopards along with her pink and turquoise brothers and sisters.

Have a fab weekend ya'll, sending love xx
