Demain: Les Vacances Commence!

All Aboard! Choo choo... You ready? Let's go!

Hey hey ya'll! So looks like I am finally, almost, just about reds to get go. Phew.

Am off on my hols, not by train or plane but in a car, pourquoi pas? I'm heading off to the South of France avec la famille and we are going to join some more fam once we arrive. Here's le plan:

- Leave tomoz at vile o'clock: 7.30am(Me, lil bro and les parents.)

- Drive down to Folkestone which is near to Dover and then hop through the tunnel.

- Exit tunnel in France and drive till we reach Tours:

Stay overnight in a hotel motel and then in the am, continue the drive all the way down to Bayonne:

Et Voila!

We're going to stay with my dear gran for two weeks (something we do every year.) My sister, her two little ones and my auntie and uncle are already out there, so we'll be joining them too, fun!

My man is also coming out, yey! I am going to dash over to Spain next Tuesday and meet him in St Sebastian, we'll stay there for 2 nights and then go back to Bayonne.

Dirty Thirty

When I return from this trip not only will I be tanned but I will also be 30, ce n'est pas possible?! Oh well, I really don't mind, I feel that the 30s are going to be fun. I'm ready ya'll!

Packing

I literally just finished doing my packing. I feel super disorganised, I have probably forgotten items of huge holidaying importance but I JUST HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME to be organised.

I was given a hand luggage sized bag and told that was all I was allowed??? So, this is what I Have taken:

1 Pair of Wedges • 3 Dresses •2 Playsuits •3 Pairs of Leggings •11 Vest Tops • 2 Shirts • 6 T-shirts • 6 Pairs of Shorts • 5 Bikinis • 10 Pairs of Knickers • 3 Bras • 3 Books • Sun cream • After Sun • Sun block • Body lotion.

I am also taken a tote bag, for all my immediates:

1 Pair of jeans • 1 Vest Top • 1 Pair of Huge Knicks • Bra • 1 Pair of Sandals • Sunglasses • Makeup Bag • Makeup Remover Wipes • 6 Nail Varnishes • 1 book.

What I'll be reading:

I like to have a fab little mix of books when I'm on holiday. I started The Zahir last night which is so far, so fab. I wanted a really cheesy chic-lit number so I picked up this Baby Me Mine number, while out grabbing last min hol bits. And the last two Never Let Me Go and Portnoy's Complaint are two that I've wanted to get round to reading for a while.

Nails

Managed to quickly paint my nails today. I went for a medley of pink on my toes and an orange medley on my fingers:

It was already dark by the time I got round to snapping these, but they look much more fabtastic in the light.
