Miss Fashion Victim

First stop has to be Leggings. You know how I love these bad-girls... 2011 has been an amaze year for lycra-leg-wrapping. That's just fash for you, you spend ages searching for your fave garm with an interesting twist... No good, nothing... Anywhere??

When BOOM your dreams have come true.. Left, right and centre. Of course now the problem is your vision has mirrored that of the nation and every man and his dog is rocking your wishes.

I had so much fun with my Topshop Leopard leggings and wore them to death, I can't help but still care for them but they have definitely lost that Je ne sais quoi.

Best Bargain

I haven't yet shown you this gorge beauty that I picked up from Loros (charity shop)... A vintage Jaeger jacket, for a mere 30 quid! Defo my fave frugal find of the year.

Fave Trend for 2011

Usually too stuck in a time warp to follow trends, it is no surprise that I have paid little attention to what's been zooming across les catwalks. Although velvet certainly caught my eye and I am still very much besotted with my Topshop Velvet Leggings.

If I had the cash I would be going further down this plushy route... I would love the same pair as seen above in purple and maybe a tight long sleeved black velv top, that would be fun, non?

Footwear

I have picked up a few new pairs of shoes throughout the year and have loved them all. My fave heels have to be the suede blue pair (Dune) I bought for my wedding outfit. I rarely wear heels, so their first outing was fairly wobbly, things are much steadier now, phew.

Boots are where I start to get really excited, this fab pair from Clarks have been doing me proud all through the colder months, total shoemance.

And then there are my brand-new Christmas boots. Yay, I have been after these for ages (see: On My Mind) and kept my fingers crossed during the holidays, it must have worked as they are mine. Say hello to my Bertie Boots!

Far East Fash

You may remember after my trip to Thailand when I came back with a load of amaze pieces: My New-Thai Wardrobe. My abso bestest purchase was the gorge blue blazer, I love the colour and androgynous cut. Girl-meets-boy chic.

Ultimate Clothing Item 2011

Here is another hidden jem that I have kept under wraps, which is silly considering she is my abso fave ever! Remember when I was trying to flog some items on ebay to buy my dream jacket?? Well I managed to sell off a few bits and received an out-of-the-blue tax rebate (Halleluiah) which meant I was able to invest.

I sound as though I am making excuses and that is because I am. The jacket had a horrif price tag and even though I managed to wangle a sample item at a quarter of it's retail price, it still makes me shudder. Anyway enough about cash, cash, money... Total vulgar talk.

I had blogged about the black version of this gorge jacket on my Birthday Wishlist and On  My Mind. This was the only one available as a sample and I am besotted. A jacket to hold onto for shiz.

Face Watch

Moving away from clothes and onto make up. 2011 has been a year of enlightenment when it comes to lotions & potions. This is mainly thanks to my beauty blogger pal Holly. My girl has been so great with recommendations, inspiration, advise and application aid... Trust me it was needed.

So, with a whole new selection of fab new items I have broken it down to give you my very fave new finds for 2011.

Lip Service

I wear lipstick almost all the time but it wasn't until this year when I started investing in good quality pieces... Not your average market stall job.

Blushing Beauty

I introduced ya'll to my fab cream blusher a couple of weeks ago... It was one of the thoughts featured in an On My Mind Monday post. Can't tell you how much I am into this pink treat, a defs fave for 2011.

Cover Up

Under my eyes is the biggest problem area, so concealer is a must. EVERY DAY business. I adore the amaze Laura Mercier Secret Concealer (shade #3) that I picked up back in Sept. A firm fave friend for 2011.

Base Care

I never moisturize, tone or do any of that dull stuff. Well never is not totally true as for the last couple of months I've been using a nourishing cream in the morning. Since using it my skin is feeling way softer, am really impressed! 2012 is all about bucking up on the skin care ideas, gotta protect it now and so on.

Mane Event

Throughout 2011 my hair has been growing at a fine rate, I hope that this will continue... This year i've concentrated on growth and said ta-ra to the fringe.

Top Material Possesion

Oh my 2011 was the most fab year when it came to materialism. As this is when I met my dear lappy. Turning thirty was no issue for me as I was given the best gift a girl could have and that was my darling mac. Working and blogging has been made so much more enjoyable now that we're together. I love that I have memory, can watch online, make movies all of it! It's just totes fab and simple. The CONSTANT CRASHING of my past-life is a vague memory.
