1 Denim Shirt – A Couple of Inspired Looks

So, we need to discuss the Iron Lady... Wowser! Went to see it last Saturday with little expectation or thought and came out thoroughly inspired. My oh my Meryl rocked it, she lived and breathed Thatcher, only a much better one.

As the film was drawing to an end, my mind was racing away with increased excitement... Mission channel Meryl Streep à la Thatcher was born. I was going out for my baby bro's 21st that night and KNEW that the celebrations would  not be complete sans my blue blazer; the perfect Maggie item.

A blue blazer was not enough, non, non, non... I had envisioned a curled front of hair a modern take on the ex-pm's do.

To get this look, I hair-sprayed the front of my hair, combed it through and curled sections with straighteners. I took each curled section, curled them round my finger and pinned down. I did my makeup, got dressed and removed the pins at the last minute.

I was in the mood for blue as Mags was all about it, so the birthday boy kindly lent me his denim shirt, which surprisingly fit (he is 6ft 5).

Note: Excuse the mess! By the time I took this picture I had had a few glasses of champers and my Maggie curls had dropped!

Look 2: An Untimely Season

The morning after the night before we decided to venture out to Bradgate Park a gorgeous National Park just a hop and a skip away. To blend in to my surroundings, I decided to opt for an autumnal look, yes I know it's still winter but tell that to the trees and the golden leaves.

With my bro wanting his shirt back, I wanted to get one more wear...
