Hey there cutie-pie! Got some more TOWIE for you today... Excited? Much.
Last week I gave you a super brief summary of mine and Holly's (YM Beauty Blog) trip to the Laurens Way Boutique Launch. This was of course mainly in the form of a VLOG. Well now I want to go into a little more detail of the overall experience.
A TOWIE MANIAC
As you all know, I am a complete sucker for Reality TV and The Only Way is Essex is my current fave. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I was given the opportunity to attend this Launch. Think: Screams, yelps & jumps.
Not only was I going to get to meet my girls in "Real" life BUT there was also an ulterior motive... Will I get the chance to ask my new TOWIE BFF's some Satirical Style Questions??
Initial Reaction to invite:

What Shall I Wear?
Picking a suitable outfit was so tough! I had NO idea and of course nothing suitable... I really didn't want to turn up there decked in vintage with a knotty mane, I wanted to adapt as much as poss and present myself as approachable and towie-esque. I ended up choosing an outfit that felt very "me" and spent lots of time with a comb and hairdryer.
(Outfit: Shirt - American Apparel • Leggings - American Apparel • Cardigan - Acne • Boots - Bertie)
I didn't take a full length pic of my outfit on the night, so instead I took a screen shot. I can honestly say that I did not realise how see-through this shirt was as I'd only worn it once and thought it was merely a little sheer, thank goodness for bras, non?
Aside the outfit, I spent over an hour applying my makeup and even stretched to fake eyelashes. Reem-a-saurus-Rex? Not quite.
I set off feeling Towie'd-to-the-max and arrived feeling totally hobo-chic (?) Lacking in a range of departments:
- Bling
- Boobs
- Tan
- Glam
... And that is just mentioning a few. Terrified that my Essex experience had ended before it had a chance to start, I picked up a glass or two of sparkling rose, inviting some dutch courage and decided to get chatting.
Who will I meet?
Assuming I was only going to meet one or two cast members I was pleasantly surprised that the launch was filled with my TOWIE faves:

This surpassed my expectations... I was in TOWIE-OVER-DRIVE.
Interviews with Satirical Style Questions
The Boutique Launch was really relaxed and everyone was lovely and friendly, this made getting interviews a piece of cake. We didn't want to bore the girls so we stuck to a few questions for each; some beauty based and other of a satirical nature. I have already shared the interviews in the VLOG, however, I decided to break down each convo into its own vid, so that you have better access to what you want to see.

Not TOWIE but still Fab
Imogen Thomas also made an appearance at the Launch. She was really very sweet and quite the funny girl. She was kind enough to answer a couple of Satirical Style questions too.
Question 1: If you were a boy for the day, what would you want to do?
Imogen: I would want to see into their mind and see what they're thinking. I would like to pass a girl on the street and know what a man thinks.
Question 2: If you could have any super power what would you choose?
Imogen: To be like a ghost - Invisible. I would like to sit in the corner of a room and watch people without them knowing I'm there.
