The Hunger Games – Taking Over

I seem to have developed a healthy-huge obsession avec new book series crush:

THE HUNGER GAMES

The title has to be capitalized as when I think of or hear it in my head its roaring and loud in one of those deep futuristic ways. Think: He-man & the power of Greyskull.

My girl Holly was swept away with the trio & quickly passed me them over, I liked the idea from what she had briefed me on but nothing prepared me for this HG takeover. I feel like I am at one with the pages... Fully immersed, completely there. I want to be Katniss (leading lady), I suddenly want to fight & be strong whilst decked out in leather... A long braid swishing and swaying down my back as I scurry and survive, always in pain but never giving in.

I'm sure this time in bed being sick hasn't helped as I've been in and out of sleep, leaping into escapism, no longer certain where Katniss ends and I begin.

Of course I'm not going to disclose any of the story BUT I am going to tell you to READ IT. You just have to. Simple.

Note: You will find your copy in the Young Adults section most probably under fantasy or some other deranged and unappealing category, don't worry though, that's OK.

The Hunger Games is a Movie too! The UK release date is Friday 23rd, C.A.N N.O.T W.A.I.T.
