Here we are slap bang in the middle of the working week. It has been a beautiful week so far, I do love all this blossoming everywhere, lots of greens & yellows my fave colours when it comes to nature. Pretty it may be but I am super sleepy & my functioning levels are low, I blame the fags, my body is going through a jittery/wired phase.
First she was sick
Then she quit fags
Now she is having to deal with it. Its just part of the process, so, let's hope this speeds up and I can go back to being Miss Motivation again. Anyway lets talk thoughts, what's going on, what's interesting... What's on my mind...
Thought 1: Moss at the Ritz
Whoa, wow, wowser. Kate Moss all over the Ritz in full bold colour. Could a Vogue shoot be more perfect? I'm sure you've seen the pics but see them again, it's all just fab & beautiful.

Thought 2: Call that Lip Service?
My boyf recently returned from a trip skiing and picked me up a couple of treats from duty free. Not only did he want to treat me BUT he also asked me in advance what I wanted. Now, I don't know about you but I found the asking before hand much more "Romantic" than guess work. Surprises when they're good are great but my man knows that I love my lipsticks and he wanted to treat me to a colour I really wanted. I was more than happy to oblige.
On handing over my airport specials, the boy tells me that there was a slight issue with one of the lipsticks, they didn't have the shade I asked for. However, the shop assistant recommended a very similar shade, normal business, right?
So, I asked for Estée Lauder in Vanilla Truffle & the lady offered my man Nectarine Shimmer. Vanilla and Nectarine, hardly descriptions that conjur similar tones and not only were the colours miles apart but the Vanilla variety has a matt finish whereas dear Miss Nectarine shimmers & shines, hello gold flecks! I found this actually quite funny yet I'm amazed that the girl selling these products was so far off the mark, she clearly had no idea as to what she was talking about but was happy to not only sell but also convince my man into this purchase... Here they are again, separated at birth does not spring to mind.
Thought 3: Say you LOVE me
Sorry, I just HAVE to return to Gossip Girl Season 2 really quickly... I have finally reached the last episode & was an emotional wreck following my girl Blair's declaration. OK, I love you, Je t'aime, You mean EVERYTHING to me, blah blah, bore... But:

4th Thought: The Budget
The 2012 budget has been announced & the price of ciggies has risen an unbelievable 37p, crash bang crazy!
Does this mean I can add a further £2/3 onto my presents over fags allowance?
5th Thought: Chick Lit
I really enjoy proper girly chick literature, after my Hunger Games adventure I needed to wipe off the gore and envelope my inner mind with less murderous escapism. I picked up the new Sophie Kinsella book; I've Got Your Number. Despite my want for more distinguished taste, I am hooked. It's been 2 days and I've nearly finished... I was up until 3 last night, totally engrossed, howling (with laughter) intermittently.
