Hey there gorge folk, hope your weekend was fun-filled and fab... Bien sûr.
Today I HAVE to share with you my fave outfit of the moment, you may think you've seen it before in my top-to-toe Navy post a couple of weeks ago, mais non, don't woz this is top-to-navy revisited. Meet 4 Colours Navy.
4 diff navies:
Different in tone
Different in fabric & finish
Thrown all together
Obvs the lighting is hideous in these pics so I have taken some clearer ones of the individual items so you can get a better impression of this fun Navy overloaded look.
Navy-licious Breakdown
Navy T-shirt from H&M £3.99.
Excuse her creased appearance, I pulled her out of the dirty washing so I could take the pic. This is a v recent purchase which I am planning to discuss with you tomorrow, so watch this space.
The Disco Pant in Navy from American Apparel £70
Love these leggings! You may remember a similar pair in gold that I picked up a while ago? (Post with AA inspired poses? Click here to see post) Well I ended up taking them back & swapping for a sensible colour, it's all about clothing mileage...Non?
Vintage Shirt in Navy - Free
I wear this shirt constantly! I love it because it's comfy, I can wear it closed as a top or open as a light jacket, also it covers my bum so I can also wear it over tights making it into a short-shirt-dress. This shirt was a hand-me-down from my French grandad, I loved his wardrobe & was lucky to inherit loads of his clothes... In fact I am wearing one of his over-sized cashmere jumpers as I type this.
Navy Mohair Cardigan from Urban Outfitters £40
Love this super long comfy cardi, It is such a great throw over piece. I picked this up a while back from UO but have no idea what concession it's from as there is & never has been a label, so I imagine it could be one of their vintage pieces?
The Whole Ensemble
Here it is all together! I have been obsessing over this look & have already worn it in 3 variations over the last couple of weeks. Here are some further looks that I have either worn or more than likely will wear depending on weather & where...
Just realised I forgot to mention footwear! I wore my black heeled Bertie boots, which I LOVE to team up with my disco pants.
Who said black & blue don't go??
