Mid-Week Musings

Ah man my week has been super busy so far... I was concerned I might not get the chance to say hi but I'm squeezing it in. Hi, hello... hey hey. Aside my working life and current planning I'm not having a lot of time to be thinking about or doing too much. However, there are some bits here and there that stand out, so let's discuss them innit?

A Grey Area

Fist off, oops I mean first off there's my current read: 50 Shades of Grey. I've been reading this really slowly, because as much as I kind of enjoy it. I can't take too much at once, it's all a little nauseating if I'm honest. It reminds me of those Point Horror/Point Romance books that I was obsessed when I was little (aged 9 - 13??) but this includes sex rooms, S&M and soft/hard limits. I think when it comes to such subjects I prefer the grittier voices of the likes of Bret Easton Ellis or Chuck Palahniuk.

Junk in my Trunk

Since quitting the fags I have been H.U.N.G.R.Y. It's quite clear now that all these years of smoking must have quenched my hunger somewhat as now I am subjected to a whole new world of needs. After lunch I NEED something sweet, this feeling can get me a little desperate - similar to how the NEED for a fag once was. Not only am I eating more but I'm eating a lot more crap to. For example this morning I went to the shops to pick up a few bits for my sweet mum, she wanted:

- 2 Aubergines
- A handful of basil
- Half a cucumber
- A loaf of bread

I also picked up a couple of bits for myself:

While we're on this sweet & unhealthy note, can someone please explain to me where the hell was I when everyone was devouring Caramac Bars?? Was it just too obvs to mention? OR is this some bizarre insider secret?

New BOY Crush

Calling all TOWIE fans... There really isn't much in the way of eye-candy when it comes to those Essex Boys, however little bro Tom Kilbey is proving more desirable as the series goes on, his floppy fringe, preppy look and moody stares are reeling me in...

I definitely would (not). He is more of a from-a-distance-on-the-TV-screen crush. The reality of knocking boots with this 21 year old is just not realistic.

SUNny Day

It has been lovely to have the sun join us for a few days... So kind of it to show up. I've been stuck inside typing and squinting at my computer screen. Not quite ready to adapt to this weather quite yet, I did leave the house without a coat earlier but the boots & socks (wooly) are staying on for now.

Puppy Love

My Grandads dog - Millie has been hanging around mine a lot lately and I've grown really fond of her. I've only ever had a hamster as a pet and am not that used to being around cats, dogs and the rest... However, every now and then I meet a lovely little creature that I really bond with. Things are going that way with me and Mills. Today her cousin Tommy came round... Shih Tzu's at every corner.

I just came across my new fave YouTube channel - Sasakiasahi. The beauty channel of Japanese beauty: Asahi Sasaki. Her vids are SO perfect:
