Wimbledon 2012 - Day 2. I think today is when it all starts properly, so a perfect time for me to share these tennis focused fash-pics. Tennis like most (all) other sports is of little interest to me, however, I do quite admire tennis court fashion - not the modern day lycra-garish-coloured ensembles. I mean back when wearing white was the ONLY option on the court... Those hottie bored housewives decked out in little-mini white numbers - taking out their frustration with a racket in one hand - ball in the other. HOT.
Me and my friend James got together for a project he was putting together - he wanted to do a tennis shoot. Inspiration? Guy Bourdin. We went dress shopping and picked out the perfect Topshop dress and a pair of £4 pumps from Primark and a few hours later we were on the court.
I hope you enjoyed this sporty set. Was very fun to collaborate with James - he is such an inspiration. Super super young (more than a decade younger than moi) and full of ideas - ones which he acts on. It is great to witness this entrepreneurial, talented spirit in action. I say watch this space - think this young chap is heading towards the made a million before the age of 21 list.
I must stay in touch
