Hard to say NO to Sale Boots

Pretty much exactly a week ago, I shared my New Boots with you and here we are again a NEW week and a NEW pair of boots, this is getting a little ridiculous!

I have a whole collection of excuses of how this is not my fault and why it's OK but it will take a while so let's just leave it at this. John Lewis was and still is having an amazing shoe sale and these fabulous Carvela boots (accidently) caught my eye. They look a little like Doc Martens but with a heel and less all-over chunkiness to them. There's a raised platform across the boot, so even though there is a heel it barely feels like it, they're also slim fitting and make my size 6 feet look tiny.

Sale price: £59 down from £150 - this reduction makes me very happy.

It's funny because this style of grunge boot was hugely fashionable in the 90s, worn by Tank Girl fans and Gothic Chics. I was more Spice than Tank and wore my heels with trainers not docs. Today though I have obviously jumped ships a little... It may be a little dramatic to say I feel empowered by these boots but then, I am a little dramatic.

Maybe there's more Spice in these boots than I realised?

Since buying these boots (4 days ago) I've worn them with a skirt, denim shorts, skinny jeans and disco pants and they look fab with all of them. They're looking a little muddy in these pics and need a clean already, that my friends is what happens to beloved items.

Gotta go, I want to go and kick some ass - without kicking any - obvs.
