Amplified Senses - Need tuning in
Before I get into rainbows and polish and so on I wanted to give you a quick re-cap of what I got up to this morning. I had a hearing aid mould made! Ugh, what a depressing start to the day, I've not even turned 31 and I am going to be aided up.
I shared my hearing problems with you a while back (recap here) there will be an operation at some point but in the meantime it looks as though I'm gonna be fixed with one of these little guys - HA! I SAY "little" AND you may think "you can get really discreet aids these days" but this NHS thing was neither little or discreet. It wasn't ENORMOUS but it held its own. We can discuss this another time, for now lets move onto brighter subjects...
Rainbow Bright
I decided to lift my spirits with a mini-colour-explosion. Not only did I paint my fingers and toes in a range of brights but I also threw ORDER out the window.
No-Order-Nails: An (initially) alien concept that I picked up off my friend Lisa (Lisa Marie Price Stylist) a couple of months back. We were painting our nails together when I noticed that she was carrying out a fab colour combo with NO sequence. Five colours on random fingers; whoa! I had a go myself and although I found it tricky to be random without being randomly-ordered I sort of got it.
Today I really feel that I have grasped this spontaneous polish arrangement, my fingers and toes are a relative kaleidoscope!
Polishes used
To create my randomised rainbows I picked the following polishes: Models Own (hed kandi) - Beach Party • Barry M - Spring Green (np290) • Barry M - Cyan Blue (np294) • Barry M - Bright Red (np262) • Essie (lights) - Poppy Razzi
Excuse my snap-happy behaviour, I am well aware that I am uploading A LOT of pics but I just get so overwhelmed with inspiration that I C.A.N N.O.T S.T.O.P.
These pics were taken at my Grandads; in his garden and just outside his cottage.
The last few snaps of the polishes assis sur (sat on) a gate, is one of my favourite views. It's directly opposite his house and never ceases to amaze, these pictures do not do it justice, it is one of things you have to witness in person.
I also took a hand at brightening up his home by bringing some of the garden inside. There may not be a lot of sun this summer but there is plenty of colour.
