Going for Gold an Olympic Look

Move over Sporty Spice there's a new girl in town! With the Olympics starting in my home country I spent last Friday sporting things up. First step: Looking the part.

I don't partake in any type of sporting activity - I dance madly when I go out but things end there, therefore my wardrobe is "sporty gear" free. (Not a trainer or jogging bottom in sight.)

Back to getting an Olympic look; I felt compelled to pull on this football themed titchy vest. I bought this top for a first date with an ex back in 2003 and have barely worn it (but can't get rid), that was until things turned sporty.

Me and my girl Gem went for a walk with a ball & camera to capture the look in an appropriate setting, I was really looking forward to sharing it with you guys before the Olympics opening but it went a little wrong.

I uploaded all the pics onto my comp, once this was complete it did its usual keep or delete questioning, I answered with delete aannnddd ALL THE PICS WERE CORRUPTED! Ah man, this had happened once before, a while back and trying to recover my pics had been a nightmare then. The race to un-delete my pics had become an exercise in itself. I started at 5pm and was yet to reach the finish line by 1am... Oh sigh.

Anyway the reason that I'm telling you all this is that if you have a Mac and this happens to you, you will know what to do. After downloading a million "free" picture recovery programs, waiting for things to load, seeing my pics and then being asked to pay I was ready to invest in one. Until someone suggested looking on the App store... I did and straight away found an app called Data Recovery Free that worked perfectly, was free and recovered my pictures, hello saviour!

The battle was won and lessons were learnt. Fight talk.
