Medicinal Ice
Last week when the sun was scorching I was sick with a throat infection, which left me staying in full of shivers while others ran around in hot-pants. Towards the end of the week I started to feel a little better & celebrated with a little Ice DIY. Ever since I spotted a picture of ice-cubes filled with herbs & flowers I have been desperate to make my own.
How had I never thought of this before?
Why isn't everyone doing this?
Shocked: That I have been to so many events throughout my life and never been offered a stuffed cube.
Still a little sickly I decided to adopt a medicinal theme to my ice. Using my fave go-to cold ingredients:
- Lemon
- Ginger
- Thyme
- Honey
Holly came round to help and try my witchery.
With a week passed and things a little healthier, I spent the weekend with my girl Jas exploring for ice-cube fillings. We found a whole selection of herbs, berries and edible flowers in my dad's allotment and back garden. Phase two of DIY cubes was underway.
