That is the time right now, as I begin to write. Hello spice girls, what a busy week this has been! I have the day off tomorrow and I am going to start it off by sleeping in followed by explorations (?). I haven't planned things out yet but I have a mini list of options, so watch this space. Market-Park-Shops-Mall that kind of thing.

I think I may have found an apartment, I've been looking around this week and found one I like the look of in Sānlǐtún (characters 三里屯) this is an ex-pat-esque area with lots of bars, shops and restaurants... Possibly not what I would have imagined going for, however it seems to be quite vibrant and feels safe. I went to get my nails done this evening with a friend and got a bite to eat before she arrived, here is the view from my seat to my new potential living-situ.

As well as eating I had a little gel-dilemma to quickly solve sans solvent. I had no way of removing my gel nails so instead - picked/peeled my polish off. Sinful creature.

What a lovely way to end a busy/stressful day (rhyme?) I met my friend at 21.30 pm we sat back, relaxed, gossiped and got beautified. I was feeling a little chic and opted for a French Manicure, I've been keeping things simple and natural all week long with un-coloured lips, sandals, shorts and barely shaven legs.

Talking of shaving, hair removal is not the done thing over here. I have inquired into bikini waxing and it seems as though it could be hard to find a salon with this option. Almost a week in and I have spotted quite a few au naturel armpits swinging around, however, it seems as though the Chinese are blessed with little hair in this region, alors pourquoi pas?

As well as going French I also switched things up by changing my shape. What do you think of this new rounded moi? This salon is opposite my potential flat and carries a wide selection of OPI nail treatment options, the list is also written in English - translations are not a common finding so I'm excited to have found this place. Oh and there is a huge box of colours/designs to choose from...

Outfit posts are proving a little tricky at the min as it's just moi, me and I so I had a little go at shooting pics from my lappy. The lighting is rubbish but you get to see what I wore today and a bit of my hotel room.
